Landscape Design Of Waterfront Settlement Based On The Characteristics Of Folk Culture-

Settlement is a generalization of the living environment created by human beings.The purpose of landscape design is to transform the living environment of human beings.With the development of social assimilation,more and more settlement landscapes are homogenized seriously in the process of development and change.Especially in the small-scale settlements,many designs that ignore the geographical and cultural characteristics of the settlements are becoming more and more popular.How to grasp the cultural characteristics of a settlement,reasonably use the environmental resources of the settlement,continue the settlement tradition,and create a space landscape that belongs to the settlement itself and keeps pace with the times is a realistic and concerned issue in the settlement development.Based on the characteristics of folk culture,this study rationally analyzes the relationship between the characteristics of folk culture and settlements,and uses the characteristics of folk culture to design waterfront settlements landscape.Combined with the relevant design theory research and the project practice of Yaolu town in Zhuqiao Township,this paper attempts to produce certain guiding significance,reference value and Enlightenment for the actual practice of similar projects.Based on the current construction background of rural settlements and the application of folk culture in the settlement landscape design,this study discusses six kinds of characteristics of folk culture in the settlement,as well as the relationship between characteristics and some settlement elements.From the perspective of landscape architecture,this paper expounds the common forms,landscape elements and spatial composition of waterfront settlements,and expounds the design concept and three design ideas of waterfront settlements from the perspective of landscape art.Combined with the theoretical understanding of the characteristics of folk culture and waterfront settlements,this paper puts forward the landscape design strategy of waterfront settlements based on the characteristics of folk culture.The strategies include the methods of understanding the characteristics of folk culture of settlements,the design principles,expression strategies and expression methods of waterfront settlements landscape that embody the characteristics of folk culture,the landscape carriers that express the characteristics of folk culture and the waterfront landscape engineering as the basis of the characteristics expression.Based on the above research,taking the landscape design project of Yaolu Town,Zhuqiao Township,Xuanzhou District as an example,this paper analyzes how to design the waterfront settlement landscape based on the characteristics of folk culture.Based on the field investigation of the natural landscape status of the town and the visit to collect the local characteristics of the water folk customs,the project reasonably uses the characteristics of folk cultural resources to carry out the planning and design of the waterfront landscape in the core area of the town,and creates and improves the characteristics of the core area of the town.The project design adheres to a number of basic principles of protecting the waterfront environment,and applies the relevant landscape architecture and art design theories.
