Research on the application of geosynthetics in the maintenance and repair of railway subgrade,subgrade occupies a large proportion in China’s trunk railway.Its construction time span is long,and it is affected by natural conditions such as geography and climate.Moreover,affected by the continuous operation of the railway,the performance of the material is often required in the selection of treatment scheme In the maintenance of railway subgrade,geosynthetics are widely used.Geosynthetics can not only meet the needs of a variety of projects,but also be conducive to the effective use of material resources,improve project quality and reduce costs,so as to achieve better social and economic benefits.In practice,geosynthetics have developed rapidly,with various types,great price differences and innovative application methods.Therefore,the application of geosynthetics in subgrade maintenance and repair is a continuous process.Based on the practice of railway subgrade maintenance and repair,this paper analyzes and studies the application of geosynthetics in subgrade maintenance and repair based on the existing engineering theory.In the specific problems,the research method of combining qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis is used to reveal the working mechanism and role of geosynthetics in subgrade maintenance and repair.Based on the extensive investigation on the product types,performance and mechanical indexes of geosynthetics at home and abroad,this paper summarizes the application of geosynthetics in railway subgrade maintenance and repair,and finds some new problems to be solved.This paper summarizes the key points of subgrade maintenance and repair,increases and improves the application occasions and modes of geosynthetics in subgrade drainage maintenance,subgrade bed maintenance and repair,and immersion embankment maintenance and repair,selection of geosynthetics,relevant mechanism analysis and calculation methods,and puts forward construction methods and precautions,which provides reference for the application of geosynthetics in subgrade maintenance and repair Examination materials.
