In recent years,the shipping economy has been recovering,port throughput has been increasing year by year,the number of ships entering and leaving the port has been increasing,and the ships have been developing towards large scale.This also makes the traffic situation in the port area more and more complicated,and the research on ship traffic flow based on mathematical statistics and modeling analysis of ship traffic flow data is more and more extensive and in-depth.The activities of inbound and outbound vessels are affected by natural environmental factors such as climate and hydrology,and are restricted by the capacity of traffic facilities such as anchorage,channel and berth.The traffic organization problem reflected by the spatial and temporal distribution of maritime traffic flow is more complex.In this paper,the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of vessel traffic flow in and out of port are taken as the main research content,and the relevant theories of vessel traffic flow are sorted out,the vessel traffic flow in and out of port operation process is analyzed,and the existing research methods and emphasis are summarized.A spatial-temporal distribution model of the inbound and outbound traffic flow is constructed,which integrates the statistical analysis of AIS data,the visual description of traffic flow and the queuing system of 'ships.Model to ship on time and space distribution characteristics of traffic flow of AIS data analysis of mathematical statistics as a whole framework,with the help of ArcGIS and Origin of software for graph visualization,at the same time,the time and space distribution of traffic flow characteristic indexes combined with queuing system running indexes,to explore the approach of vessel traffic flow in time and space distribution rule and its reflected the traffic organization of problems.Then,taking the Jingtang port area of Tangshan port as an example,the spatial and temporal distribution characteristic model of the inbound and outbound ship traffic flow was verified by the ship AIS data accumulated in recent three years,and the port environment,ship arrival law,ship traffic flow location distribution and ship traffic flow density were analyzed in detail.Finally,based on the results of model analysis,Suggestions are put forward for the establishment of channel waiting areas,the improvement of berth service efficiency,and the implementation of two-way navigable traffic organization in the main channel in the beijing-tang port area,so as to improve the queuing situation of the system,the traffic flow of inbound and outbound vessels can be dispersed,and the utilization of resources in port waters can be improved.
