With the rapid development of national economy, nuclear energy has become one of the key new energy resources because of its unique advantages of clean, efficient and sustainable. The safety requirements of nuclear power plant construction are extremely high.In this paper, the AP1000 refueling pool of nuclear power plant and IRWST internal boric acid solution corrosion are taken as the starting point. In this paper, the changes of some properties of concrete, reinforced concrete and steel in boric acid corrosion environment are analyzed, which can provide reference for the safety using of nuclear power plant affected by boric acid solution. It can provide reference for the safety of nuclear power in the area where is affected by boric acid. The main contents of the experiment are as follows:(1)The concentration of boric acid solution comes from a certain nuclear power plant.A blank reference group and a high concentration accelerated corrosion test are set up.The changes of some properties of concrete, reinforced concrete,HRB400 E steel bar with diameter 16 mm and A35 steel plate specimens after corrosion of concrete, reinforced concrete,HRB400 E steel bar and A35 steel plate specimens immersed in different concentrations of boric acid corrosion solution and alternating dry and wet were studied. It includes: compressive strength, splitting tensile strength and elastic modulus of concrete;Flexural strength and holding strength of reinforced concrete, yield strength, ultimate strength and corrosion rate of steel.(2)The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)of steel bars in flexural specimens was tested by electrochemical workstations of PARSTAT 4000 A series.Subsequently, the tested samples are split and sprayed with phenolphthalein solution,so that the corrosion of internal steel bars and the corrosion depth of concrete in different concentration of boric acid solution can be determined.(3)The samples in different concentration of boric acid corrosion solution were observed by the X-ray diffraction pair, and the damage mechanism of concrete which was corroded with different ages was also determined.
