Abstract/Summary:
Hydraulic reciprocating Glyd-ring was investigated through theory and experiment.The content is mainly divided into four parts: The finite element model of hydraulic reciprocating Glyd-ring was established,and the static analysis was carried out.Based on the soft elastohydrodynamic lubrication(EHL)model,the lubrication performance of the Glyd-ring was analyzed;The thermal-stress coupling analysis of the hydraulic reciprocating Glyd-ring was done;The friction and wear test was conducted for the hydraulic reciprocating Glyd-ring.Firstly,a finite element model was established for the hydraulic reciprocating Glyd-ring.The effects of compressibility,medium pressure and reciprocating motion on the Von Mises stress of the main seal domain were analyzed.The influence of the fillet radius in the fluid side and air side of the PTFE slip ring was investigated.Results show that,Von Mises stress increases with compression and medium pressure;when considering the compression ratio,the fillet radius on both sides of the slip ring has no effect on the contact pressure;when the fillet radius in air side is 0.5 mm,and the fillet radius in the fluid side is 0.3 mm,the pressure difference between the instroke and outstrokes of the Giyd-ring is the least.Secondly,based on the soft EHL model,the lubrication performance of the hydraulic reciprocating Glyd-ring was analyzed.The elastic deformation of the hydraulic reciprocating Glyd-ring was calculated by the online method,and effects of the medium pressure,the hydraulic oil viscosity and reciprocating speed on the film pressure and friction force were analyzed.Results show that,as the pressure of the medium increases,the film pressure and friction force increase gradually,but the difference between the film pressure and the medium pressure decreases gradually.When the viscosity of the hydraulic oil is less than 0.04 Pa·s,the maximum film pressure is less than the medium pressure,and long-term work will lead to leakage of hydraulic oil.In addition,the distribution of the film pressure for the instroke and outstroke are symmetric approximately,and the maximum film pressure for the instroke is larger than that for the outstroke.Then,based on the static analysis,the thermal-stress coupling analysis of the hydraulic reciprocating Glyd-ring was carried out.The method of heat generation of the hydraulic reciprocating Glyd-ring and the influence of the temperature field on the structure field were studied.The results show that,the heat generation method of hydraulic reciprocating Glyd-ring is friction and mechanical hysteresis,in which friction heat generation is dominant.The temperature of hydraulic reciprocating Glyd-ring is influenced by the medium pressure,the reciprocating speed and the medium temperature.Furthermore,the influence of the medium temperature is significant.The influence of the temperature field on the structure field will increase the Von Mises stress,and derease the deformation amount of the hydraulic reciprocating Glyd-ring.Finally,with the orthogonal test method,the test of the hydraulic reciprocating Glyd-ring was conducted on the UMT-3 multi-functional friction and wear test rig.The results show that,the effect of the lubrication state on the friction coefficient is the largest,however,the influence of the surface roughness of the test-piece on the friction coefficient is minimal.The wear form of the nitrile rubber material is mainly the abrasive wear,but the wear form of the polytetrafluoroethylene material is mainly the adhesive wear.
