As an important part of the pulse power system,the high-voltage pulse generator has become more demanding in terms of high reliability,low cost,compact miniaturization,and re-frequency as the research field has shifted from military defense to industrial civil field.Traditional pulse generator are limited by the saturation effects of ferromagnetic materials of pulse transformers or the cost and parameters of semiconductor devices.In order to achieve the requirements of atmospheric pressure discharge applications,parameters and performance of pulse generator are required.Air-core Tesla transformers do not It is limited by magnetic saturation and frequency,and has the advantages of high transformation ratio,simple structure,low cost,etc.It has more advantages in applications with long life and high repetition frequency.This article first analyzes the working principle of the resonance discharge of the Tesla transformer,designs the prototype parameters through the simulation model of the transformer discharge circuit,and builds a pulse generator circuit based on the voltage doubler rectification circuit,the Tesla transformer and the steepening circuit.The above-mentioned pulse generator circuit is experimentally studied.Then,based on the working principle of the re-frequency charging circuit,a re-frequency high-voltage pulse generator circuit is designed.Three important stages of the single pulse formation process are analyzed for optimization,and the output energy efficiency and peak voltage ratio of the pulse generator are studied.An optimal interval where the detuning coefficient is located is proposed,and finally a nanosecond pulse generator with an amplitude of 0 ~ 20 k V,an output voltage ratio of 123,an energy efficiency of 64%,a rising edge of 30 ns,and a repetition frequency of 0 ~ 1k Hz is obtained.Finally,the application of Tesla-type pulse generator under two different working modes is studied.Aiming at the requirements of long-life,low-jitter trigger switches,the single-mode operation of a Tesla pulse generator was used as the trigger source to study the static / dynamic characteristics of a new type of pre-ionization switch.The self-breakdown voltage,operating range,presence / absence were explored Research on Switching Performance of UV Pre-ionization,Trigger Source Parameters and Switch Ablation.The results show that when the operating coefficient is 76.1% and above at 0.1 MPa,UV pre-ionization is conducive to the stable switching trigger characteristics,and its jitter is less than 2ns.Based on the Tesla pulse generator refrequency operation mode,a dielectric barrier discharge is established.Plasma test platform,analyzing the discharge morphology and discharge power under different peak voltages,different frequencies,different dielectric thicknesses and types,and comparing it with high-frequency AC power to verify the dielectric barrier discharge driven by the Tesla pulse generator performance.The research content of this article provides technical support for improving the output performance of such pulse generator,and provides certain reference suggestions for its research in the field of atmospheric pressure discharge applications.
