The undercarriage is an important support component for the car body,but the traditional chassis is not suitable for the wheeled electric car,especially in terms of ride and handling,which seriously affects the safety and comfort of the wheel-motor-driven electric car.This subject developed a special chassis for the drive of the hub motor(hereinafter referred to as the dedicated chassis).and optimized the support capacity of the special chassis according to the structural characteristics of the electric vehicle of the hub,according to the working conditions of the electric vehicle of the hub The smoothness and stability of the special chassis were optimized,and the performance of the special chassis was analyzed by the prototype test.This special chassis can be adapted to most of the light electric vehicles on the market,which is of great significance to the development of the wheel electric vehicle technology.In this paper,the development of the special chassis is the engineering background,and the research route is determined.The main work is as follows:First,analyze the basic performance of light electric vehicles on the market,compare the similarities and differences between the traditional automobile and in-wheel electric vehicles,design the performance parameters of the special chassis according to national and industry standards,and design a special power scheme and vehicle control system.Secondly,design the steering system,braking system,and driving system of the special chassis according to the structural characteristics of the wheel electric vehicle,establish a three-dimensional model of the special chassis,use Solid Edge to perform static analysis on the special chassis,optimize the structure of the special chassis,and improve Carrying capacity.Use ADAMS to perform dynamic analysis on the special chassis,calculate the optimal parameters of the special chassis,and optimize the ride and stability of the special chassis.Finally,we welded special chassis frames and horn mounts,purchased special chassis auxiliary components,designed the entire vehicle assembly process,optimized the matching characteristics between the special chassis and the body,and completed the prototype car manufacturing.Carry out road test tests to evaluate key performances such as safety and comfort of the dedicated chassis.
