Since earth-penetrator weapon(EPW)is developing towards high speed and deep penetration, the stability of powder charge in the bomb restricts the reasonable application of explosives to some extent. Moreover, the internal stress of charge is regarded as a critical criterion to evaluate the safety performance of explosives. How to measure the accurate variation of stresses in different parts of the charge in real time under high overload has been a major concern of weapon developers. In this paper,a set of dynamic parameter acquisition system of stress in the charge was designed by a combined use of theoretical analysis, computer simulation and actual measurement,so as to evaluate the charge safety of warhead when EPW penetrated the multilayer target plates. The working principle and testing method of PVDF sensor are first analyzed, followed by the design of each unit module of circuit.Next, the paper introduced the calibration principle of test circuit and PVDF,as well as conducted an uncertainty evaluation on PVDF sensitivity. At last, how the stress and amplitude vary in different parts of grain when EPW penetrated the multilayer target plates was simulated by ANSYS.The rationality of the proposed system design is verified by a drop-weight test to provide a reliable technical support for testing the internal stress of charge in EPW.
