The existing optical coating design software's merit function and design target value set is slightly regret,and the traditional optimization algorithm essentially is still local optimization method which is inadequate of global optimization.This existing conditions can not well meet the design of the film.Through the introduce of the night vision imaging system(NVIS)and its core components as intensifier development,this paper studied the necessity of the Class C NVIS minus blue film,then described the theoretical basis of the quantum genetic algorithm(QGA),compared and selected the appropriate encoding method and operator.Combined with the basic theory of optical thin film design,an optical coating design program based on QGA is worked out under the Matlab environment.Also,a special merit function is constructed for the Class C NVIS minus blue film by analyze each band of the film.Used the QGA program and the special merit function on the film design at last,this paper designed a Class C NVIS minus blue film with appropriate thickness,excellent spectral properties and good at realization.Finally,with the help of technical parameters and optical constants obtained by experiments,the Class C NVIS minus blue film is deposited by home-made vacuum coater.The indicators of the film meet the requirements,which showed that the algorithm and the merit function is effective.
