In recent years,especially since the wenchuan earthquake on May 12,there have been more than thousands of geological disasters of different sizes in the southwest every year,causing untold losses of people and property.Because of its suddenness and destructiveness,geological disasters are drawing more and more attention from the government and the masses.The main types of geological disasters in China are dangerous rock collapse,landslide,debris flow,ground subsidence and ground cracks,among which dangerous rock collapse accounts for about one fifth of the total geological disasters annually..The formation and development of rock collapse are controlled by a variety of factors.Topography,climatic conditions,earthquakes,vegetation development and human activities are its external factors.Papers in wanzhou district of Chinese family of three gorges dam section analysis of dangerous rock is using plane projection method,to study three danger rock area to make a preliminary evaluation,? steep cliff for the consequent slope,steep cliff stability is mainly controlled by fractured L1,impact on slope stability on the rock is relatively small,comprehensive analysis of this section of the steep cliff basically stable state on the whole,under the stimulus of inducing factors,prone to collapse.However,there are many rock cavities in steep cliff,which are easy to form dangerous rock mass.? steep cliff for the consequent slope,steep cliff stability is mainly controlled by fractured L1,fractured L1 local linking up and down steep cliff,comprehensive analysis of this section of the steep cliff basically stable state to unstable state on the whole,steep cliff several rock cavity development,formation of dangerous rock mass.? steep cliff for the consequent slope,steep cliff stability is mainly controlled by fractured L1,fissure through sex is poorer,comprehensive analysis of this section of the steep cliff basically stable state on the whole,but in three groups of fracture joint development area,poor rock mass integrity,easy to form a dangerous rock mass.Qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis can effectively evaluate the stability of the dangerous rock.Three basic models,slip type,tipping type and falling type,are used to calculate the stability of the dangerous rock mass in many places.The conclusion of the stability evaluation of the dangerous rock mass shows that the stability coefficient of each dangerous rock mass is less than the safety coefficient of prevention and control engineering under the condition of rainstorm,and the safety reserve is insufficient.With the long-term erosion of rainwater,the development of rock cavity and the softening and deformation of the foundation of rock,the cracks of rock mass gradually develop,and the mechanical properties of rock mass and structural surface decline.At the same time,under the action of fracture water pressure or seismic force,the collapse of rock mass is very likely to occur.Once the unstable rock mass becomes unstable,it will seriously threaten the safety of people's lives and property nearby.
