Electro-osmosis consolidation method can improve the bearing capacity of foundation for a short period of time without causing the phenomenon of foundation instability.However,due to the large electric energy consumption of electro-osmosis consolidation method,the corrosion of electrode materials and the decline of drainage efficiency in the later period,the development of electro-osmosis method has been restricted to a certain extent.In recent years,the research on how to overcome the problems of electro-osmosis method has become one of the hot spots in the academic and engineering circles at home and abroad.Based on the basic theory of electro-osmosis to strengthen soft soil foundation,this paper applies nano-Fe3O4 and nano-montmorillonite materials to electro-osmosis to strengthen bentonite foundation,and studies the influence law of nano-materials on electro-osmosis consolidation through laboratory test,so as to provide scientific basis for the design and construction of electro-osmosis to strengthen bentonite foundation.The main research contents are as follows:(1)In-depth analyses the electric potential gradient,modes,the electrode material with decorate a form,soil moisture content,salt content and pH value on the influence of electro-osmosis consolidation process,according to the basic principle of electroosmosis consolidation method,designed a set of electro-osmosis consolidation model test device,can realize real-time monitoring model of voltage,current,displacement,effective potential,the determination of soil body fluids,plastic limit,moisture content,shear strength and other physical properties as well as pH chemistry test.(2)Using the self-designed electro-osmosis and consolidation model test device,through laboratory test,the influence rule of different adding amount of nano--Fe3O4 on the electro-osmosis and consolidation effect of bentonite was studied from the aspects of current,effective potential,displacement,moisture content,shear strength and pH value.The experimental results show that the electroosmosis and drainage effect of soil mass can be improved by adding 1‰of nano-ferric oxide,and the shear strength of soil mass can be improved to some extent,among which 1‰of nano-ferric oxide has the best drainage effect and 3‰of nano-ferric oxide has the highest shear strength.(3)Using the self-designed electro-osmosis and consolidation model text device,through laboratory tests,the influence rule of different addition amount of nano-montmorillonite on electro-osmosis and drainage and consolidation effect of bentonite was studies from the aspects of current,effective potential,displacement,moisture content,shear strength and pH value.The results showed that the soil had the best drainage effect after adding 1‰nano-montmorillonite,and the soil had highest shear strength after adding3‰nano-montmorillonite.(4)Compared with unmodified bentonite,the electro-osmotic consolidation effect was significantly improved after adding nano-materials.The results show that the electro-osmosis and consolidation drainage effect of nano-montmorillonite and nano-ferric tetroxide in bentonite is better than that of nano-montmorillonite and the electro-osmosis displacement is higher than that of nano-montmorillonite.
