The Application Of Lion Decoration Symbols In The Environment Decoration Of Huizhou Ancient Residence

Lion was introduced into China from the Han Dynasty,rising in the Tang Dynasty.After the Sui and Tang Dynasties,it gradually went to the folk,and used as a large number of decorative symbols in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.In Chinese folklore,lions have the functions of praying for blessings,protecting in front of the door,predicting disasters,decorating and beautifying,which are loved by people.As an imported product,the lion has gradually become a symbol of Chinese traditional culture,and even replaced the "tiger" worship.The development process of the lion also shows the Chinese people's inclusiveness and compatibility of foreign culture,witnessing how the Han nationality transformed the foreign culture into its own culture and added development and inheritance.This paper analyzes the evolution and development of lion in our country.The lion's plastic art changes from the imperial power to religion,then to the folk,from the early fierce and domineering majesty to the secular lively and lovely.Among them,the lion,the decorative symbol of Huizhou ancient residence,is different from "South lion" and "north lion",forming the third largest lion school,integrating Huizhou culture and characteristics.How to apply the lion form of Huizhou to modern environmental design and cultural and artistic innovation is the focus of this paper.The main contents of this paper are as follows: firstly,the evolution and development of lion modeling in China and its form and function are discussed,and the architectural characteristics of ancient Huizhou are analyzed.Secondly,this paper focuses on the research of lion symbols in ancient Huizhou dwellings,summarizes the form and type of its decorative elements,analyzes the application of lion symbols in the middle of Huizhou ancient people,and the artistic characteristics different from other lions.Finally,the lion symbol is applied to the modern environment art space,and several specific Huizhou lion decoration elements are put forward in the modern environment design.And the main conclusions of the paper are given clearly.
