Power electronic technology as the demand of the society at present stage has been rapid development,and should be in the relevant power system,to join the grid of the power electronic equipment although realized the function of a variety of more complex,the grid after put into use,due to the nonlinear characteristics of power electronic equipment,power grid will be affected by these devices,the influence of harmonics of the system in order to overcome the harmonic pollution,scientists have carried out extensive research,the design and development of active power filter(APF),the application in the power system more perfect solve the negative effects brought by the harmonic,So for system on the power system,the power electronic equipments for the research of active power filter is very necessary,however some aspects of active power filter is not perfect,such as the existence of dead zone,in a short time,the impact of small,but in the long time accumulation will be very serious impact on the system,so in the design,in this article,which has the function of dead zone compensation of active power filter to solve the problem.First of all,combined with related documents and records in this article introduces the generation and harm of harmonic,this article on active power filter for harmonic problems at this stage of development,has carried on the detailed explanation,classification of active power filter is analyzed the working principle of figure and the overall structure,according to the relationship between voltage and current and around switching function for the establishment of the mathematical modeling of active power filter,which provides the theoretical foundation for the later.And harmonic detection link is a very important part of the active power filter,can accurately detect the harmonic current component better compensation current signal cancellation in the system harmonic current,this paper put into decades development of harmonic current detection technology made a summary,and for their advantages and disadvantages in the analysis,because the instantaneous reactive power theory development and its theoretical system has very perfect,considering its comparison with the traditional power theory for the outstanding performance of the instantaneity,so in this article to p-q based on instantaneous reactive power theory test and i_p-i_qtest are analyzed in comparison.This article analyzes the control strategy of active power filter,with the need of research on dead zone compensation problem,so the control strategy based on the voltage space vector control method is adopted,in order to stabilize the compensation performance of active power filter,made a analysis to the dc side voltage problems,the causes of the active power filter of the dead zone,this paper proposes a on dead zone compensation method of the problem.Combined with the theoretical analysis of related technologies,this paper conducts simulation experiments based on MATLAB,establishes the simulation model of active power filter,analyzes the simulation results of active power filter,and verifies the performance of active power filter with the new dead zone compensation method through simulation.
