Electric Power Steering(EPS)system is the most widely used and more mature Steering system in automobile Steering system.The steering system controls the driving direction of the car,and real-time monitoring of the running status during actual driving is extremely important.The application of Unified Diagnostic Service(UDS)can detect whether the vehicle steering system communication is normal and whether the sensor functional parameters are accurate.And in the case of failure can be quickly found solutions.Therefore,the fault diagnosis system for electric power steering system is an indispensable electronic control system.The research contents of this subject for UDS mainly include the following aspects:1)According to the diagnostic requirements of EPS in the actual project,refer to the ISO international standards related to the UDS protocol,formulate a diagnostic system solution that meets the project requirements,design the system data structure,and provide specific service requirements,timing parameter requirements,and selected hardware Model selection and design for modules and development platforms.2)Combining specific service functions,establish an application layer service model through procedures.The interface functions between the application layer,the network layer and the transmission layer are designed to meet the needs of subsequent communication.3)Modularize the entire diagnostic system,reasonably plan the functions of each module,and implement each function through program design.The idea of state machine modeling is proposed,and the realization process of the diagnosis system is realized through the state machine with the help of function functions,which provides a new idea for the realization of the diagnosis system,and provides convenience for subsequent maintenance and expansion.4)Implement the diagnosis function on the selected hardware module,and use the diagnosis tool to verify the service model designed and implemented through network simulation and real vehicle test,respectively,and obtain the expected results,which can meet the requirements of the prototype test stage.
