In recent years,with the development of electronic technology and computer technology,AR(augmented reality)technology is becoming more popular in the education,entertainment military training and other fields.It has extremely broad development space and market prospect.For example,some driving schools make students learn to drive cars through AR technology,which can simulate vehicle cockpits and pavement conditions.There is also a Chinese company that combines Chinese classical poetry education with AR technology to show students real scene like " The fall torrent dashes down three thousand feet from high.It is supposed that it's Milky Way that falls from the sky".All above are the background of the subject.The paper studies a kind of tank combat simulation platform based on AR technology in this paper,which adopts enhanced virtual display,Motion-platform,Bluetooth and other technologies.Four People,who need to be divided into two teams,can be trained by this system at one time.Each team consists of two members,serving as the driver and gunner of the tank respectively.During the training,the system can simulate the chassis vibration of the tank,simulate the recoil force of the tank when it fires,and automatically judge whether it hits the target after firing by image recognition technology.The tank combat simulation platform based on AR technology that is designed in this project can be applied not only to military tank training,but also to KTV and playgrounds as entertainment facilities and educational facilities to enhance children's team awareness,strengthen children's responding ability and so on.This system has many advantages,such as interesting,competitive,teamwork and demanding.The equipment of this system has low hardware costs and can be standardized produced for military training,education,entertainment and other fields.The tank combat simulation platform designed in this project is a comprehensive electronic mechanical product that is based on various technologies.It involves the mechanical design,PCB design,Bluetooth,MCU,LAN,computer software programming based on MVC framework(ASP.net),image recognition,database and many other advanced techniques.It is a comprehensive engineering design.The whole system consists of three parts:tank car,AR cockpit,sand table and other auxiliary parts.This paper elaborates the research results and design scheme of the whole system.From two aspects,hardware and software,this paper describes in detail the design scheme of tank car,AR cockpit,sand table and other parts.At the same time,some key technologies that are adopted in this project,such as image recognition,MVC programming,ASP.net technology,Bluetooth and wireless camera technology are also introduced in this paper.Up till the present moment,the system has been successfully applied to a Lego training institution in Xi'an to train the ability of cooperation and reaction of children's team.The actual test in Xi'an proves that this system is safe and reliable,the failure rate is low and it is attractive to teenagers and children.
