This paper first introduces the research background, domestic and foreign research status, the research ideas, and the theoretical basis of the infrared optical temperature effect is analyzed.Analysis of the active focusing technology, combined with actual project, selection of passive scheme, the scheme analysis and design of the software and hardware of the system, according to GJB requirements,to the infrared thermal imager were detailed test. The test results meet the design requirements of the project. The main contents of this paper could be described as the following three points:(1)introduce the cause of the temperature effect the theory and measiure of the elimination of the infrared optical temperature effect At present, the main method of auto focusing is analyzed, and the active method and passive method are also analyzed.(2)through the analysis of the technical requirements of the project, the 320*240 infrared non refrigeration detector is used as the photoelectric converter, and the optical lens is simulated and designed.Design the servo control system based on the selection scheme and implement it.Using temperature sensor of the temperature information and field of view to control the movement of the focusing mechanism,to complete the thermal imaging system in different environment temperature, the focus of automatic compensation,so as to achieve rapid auto focus.(3)study the theory and method of measuring the performance parameters of the thermal imager.Measuring and analyzing the thermal imager, the thermal imager has a good imaging quality, easy to install, easy to install, simple structure, good environment adaptability, and can be widely used in the search, navigation, handheld reconnaissance and other fields.
