At present,PCCP pipeline has been used for about 30 years in China.Not only have we initially established our own relevant specifications in the use process,but also have some research and some valuable conclusions for the phenomenon of steel wire fracture during PCCP pipeline operation.However,due to the lack of damage events caused by PCCP in the process of use in China,and few cases of PCCP damage have been reported publicly,the research on the repair measures and reinforcement methods for PCCP pipeline broken wires is not mature,which is basically in a blank stage.With the increasing application of PCCP pipeline in China,avoiding the hidden danger of pipeline operation safety has been included in the daily work of operation management unit.It is very necessary and urgent to carry out the evaluation of the impact of the number of broken wires on the operation safety of PCCP pipeline,and to study the effective and easy to implement reinforcement measures of broken wires according to the actual situation of the project and the surrounding environment.When the PCCP pipeline is buried underground,it may be damaged or corroded due to the influence of external environmental factors.When the corrosion reaches a certain degree,there is the possibility of steel wire breaking,which will lead to a significant reduction of pipeline strength.When the number of broken wires reaches a certain degree,there is a risk of pipe explosion.As an effective way to find out the hidden danger of engineering safety in time,broken wire monitoring can grasp the operation status of the project in time and obtain the information related to engineering safety.A large diameter PCCP pipe in China has a diameter of 4 M.therefore,compared with other small diameter pipes,the project requires better hydraulic characteristics,safer pipe structure and more stable anti-corrosion technology.At the same time,the difficulty of manufacturing,installation and transportation of pipes has also increased correspondingly.At present,many scholars at home and abroad have done a considerable amount of research on large-diameter PCCP pipeline,and put forward a conclusion with practical engineering application value.However,the research on the technology of monitoring the broken wire of large-diameter PCCP pipeline with a diameter of 2-4 m is almost blank.Many prestressed steel wires have broken in a large caliber PCCP water conveyance project in China.Based on the specific operation of the project,the monitoring data of different pipe joints are collected and analyzed,and the influencing factors of the broken wires are discussed,which provides theoretical and technical reference for pipeline maintenance and safe water conveyance.In order to avoid the interruption of water supply,in addition to the reinforcement measures of pasting carbon fiber cloth on the broken wire area of PCCP pipe and painting epoxy coating on the surface,the monitoring and protection measures such as soil settlement monitoring,groundwater level monitoring,real-time broken wire monitoring are also added.This paper introduces the monitoring method of broken wire,installation and use mode,influencing factors of broken wire of pipeline,protection mode after broken wire repair,and analyzes the repair effect through monitoring data,so as to apply this technology to engineering practice more.
