Route design is a basic means to guarantee the safety of ship navigations and improve the operational efficiency of ships.With the promotion and application of AIS(Automatic Identification System)in various ships,route design based on AIS big data is closer to the actual navigation habits of ships and has higher economic benefits.Based on this,in this paper,by using AIS big data on navigation,the navigation features of ships in different types and tonnage classes are focused on the research,and the optimal route of ships under specific ship parameter model is mined and analyzed.In this paper,the influential factors of route design were firstly studied,such as AIS message data,ship features,and navigation environment.Then,three key technologies were studied emphatically,namely AIS data cleaning,position clustering,and path generation.It was followed by the business requirements and overall architecture of intelligent ship route design system based on AIS big data.Based on the above theoretical algorithm research and the overall design of this system,this paper deeply designed the business module of intelligent ship route design system based on AIS big data,focusing on the design of service modules such as message data processing,data mining and analysis,navigation environment simulation,route design and generation.Among them,message data processing service module realizes the functions of analyzing AIS data and filtering invalid ship information;Data mining and analysis service module realizes the functions of cleaning the information data,mining navagation features of ships,clustering track points by features,extracting the key turning points of paths on demand;Navigation environment simulation service module realizes the deconstruction of chart files,the extraction of sea condition data,navigation environment modeling;Route design and generation service module realizes the functions of detecting path navigability,calculating path weight and generating the shortest route.Based on the design of above service module,the system software platform was developed.Taking the Yangtze river inland waters as an example,the distribution characteristics of ship trajectory were analyzed based on the type of ships,tonnage classes and navigation environment,with the characteristic relationship was clarified among track,ship and environment.This paper showes the results of each service module with the help of the system platform,and evaluates the efficiency and reliability of the system.The results show that,given the voyage interval,this system can accurately select the key turning point of the conventional route and quickly generate an optimal route for ships of different types and tonnage classes,with short voyage distance,good collision avoidance effect,high reliability and strong practicability.
