With the rapid development of electronic technology,sensor technology and communication technology,UAV communication has risen rapidly and tends to be networked,then the UAV ad hoc network has appeared.UAV cluster is an inevitable trend of UAV application in the future battlefield,which gives the UAV ad hoc network a new feature of ultra-dense deployment,thus we call it ultra-dense UAV ad hoc network.In the ultra-dense UAV ad hoc network,the high mobility,ultra-dense deployment,three-dimensional distribution of the UAV node and the frequent change of network topology and link make the centralized resource management scheme infeasible,while the traditional distributed resource management scheme has a large overhead,which results in low resource utilization,thus cannot be well adapted to complex ultra-dense UAV ad hoc networks.Therefore,it’s necessary to research the low-cost and efficient resource management scheme in the ultra-dense UAV ad hoc networks.In addition,the design of routing protocol is one of the key issues in the UAV ad hoc network,which has a great impact on network stability and communication efficiency.The existing routing protocols cannot meet the performance challenges brought by the high dynamics of the node,frequent changes of topology and link in the ultra-dense UAV ad hoc networks.Therefore,it’s necessary to research the routing protocols applicable to the ultra-dense UAV ad hoc network.In order to solve the above problems of resource management and routing protocols,this thesis mainly conducts deeply research on cross-layer design methods,mean field games and UAV ad hoc network routing protocols.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:The basic theories of UAV ad hoc network,cross-layer design method and mean field game.We mainly discuss the characteristics and challenges of UAV ad hoc network,and the characteristics,objectives and key issues of UAV ad hoc network resource management.In addition,the existing routing protocols of the UAV ad hoc network are classified and summarized,and their applicability analysis of the UAV ad hoc network is carried out.The resource management technology and routing protocol of UAV ad hoc network.For the problems and challenges of resource management of UAV ad hoc networks,based on the cross-layer design method and the mean field game theory,considering the power resources in the physical layer,frequency resources in the MAC layer and routing resources in the network layer,a cross-layer resource management method is proposed,and the original problem is solved by problem decomposition.At the same time,the basic principle of DSR routing protocol is studied,and the problems of DSR application in UAV ad hoc network are analyzed.Furthermore,based on the cross-layer resource management strategy,an improved scheme of DSR routing protocol based on link quality is proposed.Simulated communication platform of UAV ad hoc network based on MATLAB.For the proposed cross-layer resource management strategy and the improved protocol based on DSR,MATLAB is used to construct a discrete-time simulation environment which integrates physical layer,MAC layer and network layer routing functions,and the proposed resource management algorithm and the improved algorithm based on DSR routing are simulated.And the simulation results show that the improved routing protocol can effectively improve the packet delivery rate,reduce the end-to-end delay and reduce the network packet loss rate in the UAV ad hoc network with the features of high-mobility and ultra-dense deployment.
