With the rapid development of China's economic construction in recent years,urban rail construction has also speeded up.In order to improve traffic efficiency and facilitate the citizens' transportation,modern cities are gradually building their cities into fast traffic areas with network.In the context of developing networked urban traffic,urban rail will become an indispensable part to achieve the goal and it's also the most important approach to combine speed,convenience and economy.Developing networked urban rail transit is becoming a trend,however,the construction cost is rising step by step.The redundant construction and low utilization of equipment result in heavy economical burden to our country as well as the people.Under such a general tendency,the sharing and intensification of rail lines,vehicles and equipment will be put on the agenda in order to save urban rail construction cost,improve early construction efficiency and facilitate post-maintenance.The overall planning of the city should be considered and dealt with from an overall point of view during the design and installation of the rail equipment.The specialized devices,especially those with heavy investment,should also be considered from a long-term perspective.To meet the needs of networked rail transit,a comprehensive setup of the specialized devices with two or multiple sharing lines is required.The urban rail power supply system is the fundamental assurance of the smooth operation of the rail.It's also a piece of specialized equipment with large investment and high occupation requirements.Defects of the power supply system will directly affect people's travel and the face of the city.As a result,more sensible solutions and detailed plans concerning the siting of the power supply system and the installation requirements are needed to assure the construction of the networked rail transit.Based on my years of experience of field installation and debugging of power supply equipment in Chongqing Rail Transit Co.Ltd,a detailed study is presented in this paper on the siting of the power supply system of Chongqing rail transit loop line,the selection and setup of power supply equipment,combined with examples of cities at home and abroad with mature urban rail transit.The study of this paper aims to share the power supply system of the loop line with the equipment of other lines,to save money for the constructionof Chongqing rail transit,to improve the efficiency of construction and maintenance,and to ensure the safe operation of the power supply system of loop line.This paper has conducted a research on the intensification of power supply equipment of Chongqing rail transit and probed into it from the following four aspects.1)The siting of the intensive power supply equipment of Chongqing rail transit loop line;2)The operation mode of the intensive power supply equipment of Chongqing rail transit loop line;3)The electrical wiring of the intensive power supply equipment of Chongqing rail transit loop line;4)The selection of the intensive power supply equipment of Chongqing rail transit loop line.Through a thorough study of the intensification of power supply system of Chongqing rail transit loop line,we can not only save construction capital of Chongqing rail transit loop line and other lines,but also ensure the maintenance in later period.This paper intends to present a detailed study of the power supply equipment of Chongqing rail transit loop line and provide some theoretical and practical basis for other lines of Chongqing rail transit,as well as other networked rail transit cities in China.Besides,it's also hoped that more insights concerning the intensification of power supply system of Chongqing rail transit are being on the way.
