The traditional,manual based on 2D plans construction progress monitoring is a time-consuming and painstaking process.Therefore,it is not appropriate for the gradually complex building construction management.In recent years,the development of image acquisition technology and the extensive application of BIM in the whole Building Lifecycle have make the automatic construction progress monitoring possible.This paper starts from the acquisition of 3D building data,and proposed a semi-automatic building construction progress monitoring based on the oblique photogrammetric point cloud,laser point cloud and BIM.The deviation between as-built progress and as-planned progress is obtained by comparing the point cloud data with the mesh model(triangulation model)converted from BIM model.The main content of this paper is as follows:1.Face to the different monitoring requirements of building construction progress,we choose the appropriate method for collecting point cloud of the construction site.As for the progress monitoring of the main structure of the building,we use oblique photography to quickly obtain the point cloud data of the outdoor construction site.For the progress monitoring of the on-going top floor and interior of the building,airborne LiDAR can be used for the acquisition of high-precision outdoor point cloud,and GeoSLAM for the indoor point cloud.2.Align point cloud of building construction site and BIM model,integrate two different data into a unified coordinate system.Based on the manually selected homonymous point of building point cloud data and the BIM model,the least squares optimization method is used to calculate the transformation matrix between the BIM model and the 3D point cloud to achieve accurate registration of these two.3.Comparison of point clouds with the as-planned building model based on octree.For the oblique photogrammetric point cloud,using visibility check and the distance between the point and the model plane to analyze the completeness of building element.For the indoor point cloud,3D point cloud change detection method is used.To verify the effectiveness and validity of the method proposed in this paper,multipored oblique photogrammetric point cloud,laser point cloud and BIM are used.According to the results of the experiment,the proposed method is practical for semi-automatic construction monitoring of the main structure and interior element of the building.
