Regional culture is the spirit and soul of the features of traditional rural dwellings,while the features of traditional rural dwellings are the carrier and concentrated embodiment of regional culture.However,with the deepening of the new rural construction process,the continuous development of productive forces,the original structure of the village was destroyed,the development of the village broke away from the restrictions of the environment,lost the connection with the specific regional culture,the appearance of the new rural residential appearance appeared disorder,and even appeared "one side of a thousand villages" abnormal development.Therefore,the research on the landscape design of new rural residential buildings needs to return to the core idea of taking regional culture as the context.Re-examine the lost traditional context,strengthen villagers' cognition and identification of rural regional cultural characteristics,excavate the characteristics and value of traditional rural residential buildings,and combine the development and evolution of The Times to provide systematic and scientific design principles for the appearance of new rural residential buildings.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter introduces the writing background and research significance of the thesis,and determines the writing direction of the thesis through the analysis of the research status at home and abroad.Chapter two analyzes the relationship between regional culture and rural residential style,and summarizes the characteristics of rural residential style under the influence of diverse cultures in southern sichuan from the perspective of regional culture.Chapter three summarizes the current situation and problems of the appearance of villagers' residence in rural areas under the new rural construction environment,analyzes the reasons for the evolution of the appearance,summarizes the experience and mistakes in the design of the appearance of new rural dwellings,and points out the tasks and objectives of the design of the appearance of new rural dwellings in baima village,south sichuan.Chapter four puts forward three guiding principles of landscape design of new rural residential buildings and nine design principles based on regional culture.Chapter five,under the guidance of landscape design principles,discusses three new residential landscape design practice projects of datong bridge area,huajai area and caring apartment area in baima village,proposes specific design measures,and conducts rational evaluation.The final conclusion once again emphasizes that the landscape design of new rural dwellings should take regional culture as the context and seek a balance between tradition and modernity.
