With accelerating construction and formation of rail transit network in Chengdu,the urban rail transit system therein has been changing from only one or two lines to a complex underground transportation network.Approaching construction between new metro lines and existing ones has become one of the biggest safety risks.If the construction of new metro lines causes excessive deformation,settlement or even cracking of existing lines,adjacent buildings or structures,it will result in speed limit and shutdown of existing lines,operation capacity decrease of the entire network,malfunction of the network,and even pose a serious threat to the safety of existing buildings,structures and people's lives.Rapid construction of Chengdu Metro demands a systematic safety risk assessment,management and control system and countermeasure for approaching construction,so as to ensure the safety.Therefore,it is of great significance to study safety risk analysis and countermeasure of approaching construction of Chengdu Metro.Through on-site investigation and statistics on approaching construction arising from construction works of Chengdu Metro,and based on systematic study on research results of safety risk management and control for approaching construction of urban rail transit projects at home and abroad,this paper applies construction risk management theory to safety risk assessment,management and control of approaching construction of Chengdu Metro.By means of computer simulation software and mathematical model,this paper conducts separate analysis and demonstration on risk assessment and countermeasures of several typical common approaching constructions,such as "newly-built station adjacent to surrounding buildings","newly-built section tunnel adjacent to surrounding buildings","newly-built station adjacent to existing line station" and "newly-built section tunnel adjacent to existing line tunnel".It establishes technical model and countermeasures for safety risk assessment system of approaching construction of Chengdu Metro.It conducts empirical research on the cases of approaching construction of Chengdu Metro,and verifies rationality and correctness of analysis and assessment methodology and countermeasure.Specific study works have been carried out in the following aspects:1.Through analysis on safety risk factors,it establishes a safety risk management and control system for approaching construction of Chengdu Metro.2.It conducts a comprehensive statistics and analysis on safety factors and typical cases arising from approaching construction of Chengdu Metro in a number of years,and come up with corresponding countermeasures.3.It conducts empirical research and establishes safety risk analysis system model and technical countermeasure.Rationality of framework system,correctness of mathematical model and feasibility of technical countermeasure are demonstrated through the empirical research.This paper is a study on the safety risk analysis and countermeasures for approaching construction of Chengdu Metro,which provides technical and theoretical support for the risk management and control,together with countermeasures formulation of approaching construction of Chengdu Metro in the future,and also provides reference for management of approaching construction in other similar construction projects.
