Abstract/Summary:
As a common structure of aerospace engineering,the aeroelastic response in supersonic flow for the truncated conical shell is an important issue.In this paper,the aeroelastic problem of a truncated conical shell structure with arbitrary initial geometrical imperfection is considered.The equation of aeroelastic motion of a truncated conical shell with arbitrary initial geometric imperfection is established.The Fourier series combined with the Galerkin method is used to discretize the truncated conical shell.The differential quadrature method is used to discretize the axial direction of the truncated conical shell.The Newmark and dichotomy method is used to solve the critical flow velocity of the flutter and the critical dynamic pressure parameters of the flutter.For the dynamic response problem,the response of the linear degenerate system is obtained by Newmark direct integration method.Based on the dynamic response calculation,the system’s flutter critical dynamic pressure parameters are obtained by the minimum dichotomy method,and the influence of geometric parameters and different circumferential directions are studied,even the influence of wave numbers.Based on the research background and research significance of the aeroelastic problem of the initial geometric imperfection truncated conical shell,the research methods and research results of such problems in recent years are reviewed.The aeroelastic model of the truncated conical shell of arbitrary initial geometric imperfection is established,and the aeroelastic nonlinear equation of motion of the model is derived.The equation is subjected to twodimensional discretization.The response analysis of the linearized truncated conical shell system in the absence of imperfection is carried out and compared with the existing literature to verify the correctness of the system establishment.The critical flow velocity of the flutter and the critical dynamic pressure parameters of the flutter with the axisymmetric initial geometrical imperfection are studied with the initial imperfection factor.The critical flow velocity of the flutter and the critical dynamic pressure parameters of the flutter with the nonaxisymmetric initial geometrical imperfection are studied with the initial imperfection factor.It is found that the initial geometric imperfections will reduce the critical dynamic pressure of the truncated conical shell flutter.
