Vunlnerability Analysis And Assesssment Of Urban Rail Transit Network

Rail transit in major cities in China has developed rapidly and become an essential part of urban transport.However,the safety of its management is a significant issue that cannot be ignored.This paper analyzes the characteristics of urban rail transit network structure by using complex network theory,and vulnerability of urban rail transit network from the perspective of transporting passengers and network operation,which means the degree of urban rail transit network as the vehicle of passenger and public infrastructure affected by unexpected events.The complex network theory is used to analyze the characteristics of urban rail transit network structure.From the perspective of passenger,the urban rail transit network model considering the transfer and foldback is established.Then,this paper seeks the K-th path for judging its validity and assign the OD passenger flow to the network based on the time impedance.After the interruption,the passenger flow is divided into different categories for passenger re-assignment.The overall passenger loss and corresponding travel time loss are used to describe the service vulnerability under the interval interruption quantitatively.From the perspective of operation,an urban rail transit network model is established considering the load factor.Then,based on different emergencies,the damage to stations is also different.So,the attack strategies are divided into the random attack and deliberate attack which include static and dynamic ones.Simultaneously,the consequences of the attack are divided into two cases: full failure and semi-failure.Ultimately,the overall network efficiency loss is used as a measure to evaluate the operational vulnerability of the network under station failure.The Shenzhen Metro is taken as an example to analyze and assess the vulnerability of its network services and operations,find out its key intervals and stations,and provide scientific reference and basis for the safety management of urban rail transit networks.
