Mobile Ad-hoc Network(MANET)is a network of mobile terminals without infrastructure.Due to its rapid networking capabilities,it is widely used in smart urban, vehicular network,UAV network, military, agricultural, medical applications.Routing technology is a key technology in the MANET.In order to solve the problem that the Network Simulator 3(NS-3)cannot accurately simulate the battery information of MANET node, this paper combined with the advantages of the LiIon battery model and the KiBaM battery model, the LiIon battery model is used to calculate output voltage of the available charge well of the KiBaM battery model.A LiIon-KiBaM battery model that can reflect the rate capacity effect and recovery effect of the battery and can reduce the output voltage as the remaining charge decreases is proposed. And for solving the ordinary differential equations without analytical solution in the model. An easy programming numerical solution based on the implicit Runge-Kutta method is proposed.Simulations and experiments show that the proposed model and its numerical solution can accurately predict the voltage and remaining charge at any time during battery use in NS-3,and have the advantage of low computational complexity. The proposed battery model and proposed numerical solution are not only applicable to NS-3,but also to other simulators, which provides good technical support for the research and development of MANET.In OLSR routing protocol, each node broadcasts Hello packets at regular intervals for link sensing and neighborhood detection. However,if the hello interval is too small when the node speed is slow, unnecessary traffic will appear in the network. If the hello interval is too large when the node speed is fast, the performance will be degraded too. This paper proposes a novel Hello scheme.A large number of simulation results of NS-3 are used as samples, the neural network is trained by GA-BP algorithm, and the chosen QoS(Quality of Service)metrics and energy metric under different Hello intervals are predicted according to the speed of nodes. The MADM(Multiple Attribute Decision Making)is used to comprehensively evaluate these metrics and select the optimal Hello interval. Our simulation results show that compared with the original OLSR and other schemes, the proposed scheme can achieve a large performance improvement. The proposed scheme is compatible, can be used not only for the original OLSR protocol, but also for most other improved OLSR routing protocols.
