Textile Reinforced Concrete(TRC)is a new type of fiber-reinforced composite with fine concrete as the matrix.TRC has significantly advantages in structural reinforcement as follow characters: high strength,high toughness and good compatibility with building structure.This paper focuses on to study the effect of masonry structure reinforced with TRC,and the axial pressure text of masonry columns reinforced with TRC and the joint section shear text of masonry structure reinforced with TRC were carried out.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The text of axial compression on 9 damaged clay brick columns reinforced with TRC was carried out.The results show that,TRC can effectively restrain the columns and perform well in increasing bearing capacity and improving the failure mode and the capacity of deformation;the reinforcement effect of TRC is improved with the increasing of the layers of textile within a certain range;textile covered with sands can improve the cracking load;the lap length of the textile has little influence on reinforcement effect of TRC;the cracking load is increased significantly when chopped PVA fibers used to modify TRC matrix,and the ultimate load is also improved;the pre-damaged situation can affect columns' cracking load,pre-damaged more serious cracking load increase the smaller.(2)The test of masonry shear strength along mortar joints on 6 groups of 18 brick masonry specimens reinforced with TRC was carried out.The results show that,TRC can effectively improve the shear strength and ductility of brick masonry;the reinforcing effect of the textile braid is better than that of the horizontal arrangement;the increasing of the layers of textile can improve the reinforcement effect of TRC within a certain range;textile covered with sands can improve the ductility of brick masonry,but has little effect on the improvement of shear strength;adding chopped PVA fibers to modify matrix can improve the shear strength and delay the development of cracks of brick masonry.(3)According to the calculation model of the restrained concrete column,the bearing capacity calculation formula of damaged clay brick column reinforced with TRC is given;the shear strength formula of TRC strengthen brick masonry is given based on the principle of fixed pulley.The result of the calculation has good agreement with that of experiments.
