For oil immersed transformers,the temperature rise of transformer oil is a very important parameter.The life of insulating paper follows the 6K rule,and the life of insulating paper will be halved when the oil temperature is increased by 6K.The heat dissipation capacity of the transformer is limited,and the external radiator can help to heat the radiator.The radiator has become the main radiator of the transformer because of its low cost and high heat dissipation efficiency.Transformer is the most important equipment in the power transmission and distribution system.With the improvement of environmental protection requirements,the transformer adopts the cooling method of the natural circulation of the natural oil circulation cooling of the plate type radiator.So in practical engineering need radiator towards the small lightweight,low thermal resistance,high efficiency heat transfer direction.In recent years,scholars have paid more and more attention to the research of vortex generator in the field of heat dissipation enhancement.The vortex generator has obvious heat dissipation effect on the radiator,but it has not been applied in the engineering.The purpose of this paper is to produce a vortex generator on the surface of a radiator.Through numerical simulation,the optimal shape,size,arrangement and spacing of the vortex generator are found within the engineering conditions,and some suggestions are put forward for the plate radiator which is suitable for mass production.The results show that,for a straight parallelepiped vortex generator,the longer the length of the vortex generator,the smaller the width,the higher the height and the smaller the distance,the better the heat dissipation effect of the vortex generator is.The heat dissipation efficiency of the fin can be improved better by increasing the airflow channel properly through the punching vortex generator on the radiator.The scheme proposed in this article is keeping the spacing of the heat sink constant,changing the size of oil,so that reducing the oil flow region,increasing air flow,the cooling effect will be better.
