From the west to the east of the Shen Chi station to the Huanghua port,Shuohuang railway is connected with the huang-wan line and the huang-da railway,which constitutes the second main channel for the eastern transportation of western coal in China,and is an important part of the transportation industry of the national energy group.In 2017,the coal volume of the Shuohuang railway completed 291 million 940 thousand tons.In 2018,it planned to complete the coal transport volume of 3.05 million tons,and 20 thousand tons of heavy haul trains were scheduled to set up 32 pairs.Under the new transportation situation,the existing traction power supply system of Shuohuang Railway is facing new challenges,so it is necessary to expand the capacity of the traction power supply system.This paper reviews the development process of electrified heavy haul railway at home and abroad,and mainly introduces the heavy haul development process of Daqin Railway and Shuohuang Railway.In view of the current traffic volume of Shuohuang Railway,the problems existing in the existing traction power supply system,such as overload,low power factor of substation and low terminal voltage,are pointed out.Then the technical scheme of the expansion and transformation of the traction power supply system of the Shuohuang railway is introduced in detail from the aspects of the transformation of traction transformer,the replacement of traverse wire,the transformation scheme of the catenary and the construction technology of the contact network.The power supply mode of the existing direct supply and reflux section is transformed into AT power supply mode,which realizes the connection of AT power supply mode of the whole line.A new AT station is set up according to the need to enhance the power supply capacity.Electrical simulation analysis is carried out on the capacity-increasing transformation of traction power supply system of Shuohuang Railway,and the feasibility of the transformation scheme is verified theoretically and practically.Finally,the prospect of traction power supply system expansion and transformation is prospected.
