A Study On The Urban Landscape Construction Of Ma Guangzu In The Southern Song Dynasty During His Tenure In Jiankang

The spatial turn in the field of urban history emphasizes to tell the history from the production practice of the space itself.Behind the space of traditional urban landscape construction in China is the ancient ancestors' s cognition and value orientation of urban landscape pattern and human settlement environment.This paper studies the cultural background,main body and functional objectives of urban traditional landscape construction.The construction approach is of theoretical and practical significance to the development of the historical theory of ancient urban construction and garden construction and to the urban planning and human settlements construction from the perspective of contemporary landscape architecture.“The culture of the China reached its climax in the Song Dynasty.”The Song Dynasty was a key period for the vigorous development and stereotyping of urban landscape construction in China.Under the background of urban social transformation in Song Dynasty,the rise of scholar society,the prosperity of cultural fusion and the formation of commercial and recreational urban space promoted the construction of Song city to a climax in social,economic,cultural and other aspects.It stimulated the development of urban landscape construction and human settlement environment construction in the Song Dynasty,and gradually formed the institutionalized and regularized urban landscape construction system in the Southern Song Dynasty.Nanjing,as the capital of Southern Song Dynasty,was the most prosperous city construction activity during Ma Guangzu's tenure in Jiankang.The urban landscape construction is also the most representative,is the implementation of Ma Guangzu's national consciousness and his pursuit of personal spirit.It also reflects Ma Guangzu's landscape aesthetic consciousness and landscape construction philosophy in the process of urban construction as a special class of local officials in Song Dynasty.This paper is based on the writing logic of "background study-factor analysis-feature induction".Based on the landscape-related contents of Jiankang in the Southern Song Dynasty in “Jing Ding Jian Kang Zhi”,combined with the descriptions of Nanjing documents in Yuan Dynasty,Ming Dynasty,Qing dynasty and the Republic of China and the historical maps of related cities as supplementary basic materials,Taking Ma Guangzu's landscape construction activities in Jiankang during the Southern Song Dynasty as the research object,the research methods such as text analysis,mutual verification of pictures and texts,HGIS space humanities technology and so on,are used.This paper makes a systematic analysis of Ma Guangzu's characteristics and thoughts of urban landscape construction during his tenure in Jiankang.First of all,this paper reviews the political system,spiritual civilization and the evolution of the spatial structure of the city in Song Dynasty under the background of the social transformation of the Tang and Song dynasties and the southward migration of the political power in the Song Dynasty.This paper analyzes the spatial projection of urban social change in the government-led urban construction and landscape construction,showing the benefits of the people and the public,the popularity of the concept of feng shui and the importance of cultural dissemination.Secondly,the related contents of Ma Guangzu's city construction and landscape construction in “Jing Ding Jian Kang Zhi”are extracted and combed in word frequency,and combined with the city map of local records and related historical maps of all dynasties.HGIS spatial humanities technology is used to identify and locate the Jiankang city scenery in the text.Firstly,this paper analyzes the characteristics of macro-layout of urban landscape construction,and expounds Ma Guangzu's landscape construction by three levels of landscape construction: "landscape of urban infrastructure,construction of special functional gardens,and construction of daily living scenic spots".Furthermore,the urban festivals and public activities under the landscape construction are analyzed.Finally,this paper summarizes the characteristics of Ma Guangzu's landscape construction,such as "regularization of form,systematization of organization and diversification of function",and the construction thought and way of "emphasizing people's livelihood,promoting education and strengthening aesthetic consciousness".In summary,this article takes the social civilization change as the background,analyzes the Song Dynasty city scenery formation intrinsic motive.Taking Ma Guangzu's landscape construction activities as an example during his tenure in Jiankang in Southern Song Dynasty,this paper analyzes his landscape construction types,spatial representation of layout,summarizes Ma Guangzu's urban landscape construction characteristics and construction thoughts,and makes a conclusion of Ma Guangzu's urban landscape construction characteristics and ideas.Re-understanding the ancient Chinese urban landscape building wisdom rooted in the natural landscape,closely related to the society and culture.To expand the historical theory of urban construction and the theoretical system of urban historical landscape,and to provide basic support for contemporary urban landscape planning,historical heritage protection and other disciplines.
