With the use of electric locomotives throughout the country,the potential maintenance problem of locomotives is becoming more and more obvious,among which the problem of loss of power of lead-acid batteries for electric locomotive pantograph lifting and other auxiliary equipment is a serious problem.In order to solve such problems,electric locomotive batteries need to be scientifically managed and protected to improve the actual service life of batteries.The main content of this paper is to develop a battery monitoring and protection system for electric locomotive.The main function of the system is to monitor the state of the battery in real time and protect the battery in time to avoid the loss of the battery.The design is based on the STM32F103 single chip computer,through the acquisition and measurement of the electric locomotive battery voltage,current,charge and discharge state,internal resistance,temperature and other parameters,to realize the monitoring of the state of the locomotive battery and the protection of the loss of electricity.Through STM32F103 software programming system,the following specific requirements are achieved: 1.measurement of voltage value,current value;2.monitoring battery charge and discharge state;3.measurement of battery environment temperature,internal resistance;4.display battery voltage,current,charge discharge state,internal resistance,temperature;5.storage battery voltage threshold,current threshold,internal Resistance threshold and temperature threshold can be set;6.battery power loss automatic voice alarm;7.system automatic remote protection battery;8.system storage alarm record.The system eventually meets the on-line condition monitoring of electric locomotive batteries and displays relevant parameters on the LCD screen.The system can set voltage threshold,current threshold,internal resistance threshold and temperature threshold.When each parameter of the battery exceeds the threshold,the system can alert the alarm,and the battery is remotely flung out of the battery tripping device by the shunt tripping device to protect the battery and avoid the loss of the battery.The system can provide technical reference for the maintenance of electric locomotive battery in our country,at the same time,it can guarantee the electric locomotive with sufficient DC energy supply,guarantee the electric locomotive to lift the bow,and protect the safety production of the railway electric locomotive.
