With the rapid development of social economy,the development and utilization of clean energy has been an important research topic.Solar energy is an ideal heat source,but solar energy is unstable.Therefore,solar energy utilization should adopt heat storage device to increase the practicability of the system.When solar energy intensity is low,heat storage tank can be used for heating.In this paper,a solar deicing heat storage heat pump system using hot air as heat supply is studied.Ice is used as heat storage medium.When solar energy is sufficient,ice is used to convert into water to store solar energy.When solar energy is insufficient,water is used to convert into ice to release the stored solar heat energy to provide heat source for heat pump.The system is mainly composed of heat pump unit,hot water solar collector and heat storage tank.In this paper,experimental and numerical simulation methods are used to study the heat storage and release performance of the key component,heat storage tank,in the deicing heat storage system and water heat storage system.The results show that the heat storage capacity and solar energy utilization efficiency of the heat storage tank in the deicing heat storage system are higher than those in the water heat storage system.In deicing heat storage system,a day's solar energy heat storage can keep the heat pump running continuously for 6 hours.While under the same condition in water heat storage system,the solar energy heat storage can only keep the heat pump running for 2 hours.It is found that with the decrease of solar radiation and temperature in the afternoon,the collector efficiency of solar collector decreases greatly,while the temperature of circulating glycol water solution in deicing heat storage system is lower than that in water heat storage system,so it can absorb more heat when solar energy is insufficient.In addition,the lower water temperature in the heat storage tank of the deicing heat storage system can increase the temperature difference of heat transfer which improve the utilization rate of solar energy,and reduce the heat dissipation of the heat storage tank to the surrounding environment which benefit to reduce the heat loss of system.
