With the development of economy, the advancement of science and technology, and the increasing number of bridges across rivers and rivers,China’s infrastructure has developed rapidly, and deep-water foundation construction has become an indispensable link. The application of the locking steel pipe pile cofferdam in the construction of deep water foundation has become increasingly widespread. The locking steel pipe pile cofferdam has good effect on deep foundation pit support, the material can be reused, plays different roles in different construction periods, and is convenient for material processing, transportation and installation, suitable for terrain and water area limitation and lifting.Construction of difficult locations. This paper introduces the application of the locking steel pipe pile cofferdam on the deep water foundation of the bridge in combination with the Xiangjiang River prestressed concrete low tower cable-stayed bridge project.Firstly, the structural form of the cofferdam and the main dimensions of each component are preliminarily designed according to the actual conditions of the project;Secondly, the finite element calculation software MIDAS is used to establish the structural model of the locked steel pipe pile cofferdam.Considering the various calculation loads such as hydrostatic pressure, earth pressure and flow pressure, the stress analysis is carried out.The analysis results show that the components meet the stress requirements and the stability of the members also meets the requirements of the force. The calculated values are basically consistent with the measured values. The measurement error is controlled within the allowable range.
