Due to the frequency of earthquake in our country is high,the structural damping technology is highly regarded,for example,the government of Yunnan Province demand that some of the structural must use structural damping technology,and encourage others use it.Besides,many province like Sichuan?Tibet?Hebei and so on,have a high frequency of earthquake.So this kind of technology have a good prospect,but there are too many expensive but low durability dissipator in the market,and from the record of earthquakes,countryside buildings suffer most form the earthquake.the main reason why is that most of countryside building lack of good resistant ability from earthquake.the price of most dissipator is too high for countryside buildings,so the low price dissipator are proper one to the countryside buildings in the mean time.Above all,our team aimed at “simple structure,low price”,designed a kind of new dissipator.It can be used in high building,Common buildings and countryside buildings.It has many advantages like low cost?suitable for industrial production.Based on former studies,this article aimed at the use of new materials and a new configuration.In the mean time,we did experiment?finite element analysis and the main contents and conclusions of research are the follows:1.the main configuration?working principle?basic theory and some conclusion of influence factors are introduced.2.we designed four static cyclic tests(four different materials:NBR?EPDM?PU)with different loading systems,loading rates and bolt torques on the dissipator were carried out.3.we use Abaqus to analysis which application conditions of friction part is the most valuable to us.4.got some useful concludes about this dissipator by experiment and ABAQUS,and proposed a kind of new type of friction dissipator according to the one we are studing.
