Switch equipment is an important equipment in power system.Its reliability is directly related to the performance of the reliable operation of power system,and the reliability of the switchgear depends largely on the reliability of the mechanical operation system.So the switch equipment of mechanical failure and defect diagnosis is very important,also is the important measure to ensure the safe operation of the power system.The opening-closing coil current of switchgear contains abundant information,can be used as the basis of mechanical fault diagnosis,through the monitoring points,closing operation coil current action,can understand the performance of the circuit breaker secondary control loop and the status of the mechanical operation mechanism,etc.,thus points closing coil current is an important content of switch equipment condition monitoring.In this paper,it was be done which the characteristics of the coil current through the establishment of information database,and then with the actual and close coil current signal is detected by the comparative analysis calculation,according to the time delay of switching current waveform,amplitude characteristic and the supply voltage waveform stationarity,judge switch points,the working state of the closing coil,combination switch mechanical characteristic parameters,such as contact temperature data,can predict some fault trend of switching circuit,discover the switching characteristics of abnormal defects,preventing further equipment defects lead to system failure.Paper first has carried on the switch equipment failure mechanism analysis,switchgear points closing coil model is established,the experimental model of electrical and mechanical mechanism.Secondly,by studying the circuit breaker action coil in the process of energy storage,the piston motion,contactor disconnect switch points in different stages of the closing coil current waveform characteristics,set up the switch opening-closing coil current waveform database.Again,by studying the switch equipment switching current coil waveform characteristics,the corresponding relationship between fault operation mechanism and application of quyuan analysis(CCA)and self-organizing neural network(SOM)method to switch equipment fault diagnosis and analysis of the faults and defects.Then,through the points(us)coil current signal characteristic curve measurement,research points,closing coil current standard waveforms,switch equipment defects,the corresponding relationship between the coil current waveform based on themeasured provides the basis for judging the coil current waveform switch equipment defects,switch equipment was designed and developed intelligent terminals and defect intelligent detection system analysis of the background.Finally,in a number of pilot switch equipment installation operation switch equipment defect detection system,intelligent real-time control switch device status,the switch equipment defect and fault monitoring and early warning,realize the intelligent switch equipment inspection.It is of great significance to the research results of the paper.It can effectively improve the safety of power grid operation and power supply reliability,prevent accidents,put an end to personal casualties and serious economic losses,improve the people’s power satisfaction,promote social harmony.
