With the continuous development of social living standards,the speed of urbanization has advanced by leaps and bounds,and the problem of urban traffic congestion has become increasingly serious.The urban ring road is the core area of urban traffic and is one of the important components of urban traffic.It often carries a large number of transit vehicles.The congestion problem of urban loops is becoming more and more serious,which seriously affects the normal operation of urban traffic.At present,the main signal timing method of the urban loop is the segmentation timing control method.This method is relatively simple,and does not consider the time-varying of the traffic flow,and it is difficult to satisfy the situation in which the traffic volume changes greatly.Moreover,in the case of relatively stable traffic volume,coordination optimization between multiple roundabout intersections is not considered,resulting in large delays in the vehicle.In view of the problems existing in the urban ring road,this paper takes the lianglukou ring road in Chongqing as the research object,analyzes the urban ring road characteristics,and at the same time,conducts in-depth research on the queue length,delay,and number of stops.Describes the characteristics of these three traffic operation evaluation indicators.At the same time,the lianglukou ring road is modeled.By analyzing the traffic flow direction and the loop geometry,a two-phase adaptive timing control algorithm is proposed.Compared with the existing timing method,the algorithm can be based on the real-time traffic flow,generate a reasonable timing scheme.In addition,this paper proposes a multi-agent-based green wave-coordination method for ring road intersections based on the multi-agent system autonomy,distribution,coordination,active learning and other excellent characteristics,and treats each intersections as one.The agent can communicate with each other between adjacent agents,and use the intelligent system memory storage and reasoning learning ability to coordinate and optimize the green wave at multiple intersections on the loop.From the algorithm model and parameter description and coordination mode The phase selection strategy and other angles describe and derive the algorithm.Finally,the adaptive intelligent timing algorithm of intersection and the green wave coordination algorithm based on multi-agent are designed.A set of urban ring road multi-agent control system is developed,and the control system is applied to the Lianglukou ring road in Chongqing.The original time-sharing scheme of the Lianglukou ring road in Chongqing,the unoptimized Webster timing algorithm,and the proposed scheme are compared in the three periods of low peak,flat peak and peak,respectively.From the experimental simulation results,the algorithm proposed in this paper shows a better control effect during the flat peak period when the traffic volume is relatively small,and during the peak hours when the traffic volume is large,which can reduce the queue length and number of stops of the traffic flow.To reduce the delay time of the vehicle and prove the effectiveness of the proposed method.
