In recent years,the non-linear load capacity of power system continues to grow,which forms a huge pressure on reactive power regulation,and the system is facing the trend of increasing harmonic pollution.Scientific and reasonable reactive power control strategy plays an active role in voltage regulation of power system nodes.It not only improves the efficiency of power transmission and reduces network losses,but also has important significance and value for the safe,economic,green and efficient operation of power grid.In medium and low voltage distribution networks,optimizing the performance of reactive power compensation devices in distribution network,adopting more optimal adjustment methods within the allowable cost range,reducing equipment volume and enhancing switching reliability have become the development trend of reactive power compensation research.In this paper,a new type of intelligent reactive power compensation device based on MCU control is developed for the operation control of low-voltage distribution network.The main research contents are as follows:1)The structure and operation principle of the device are elaborated in detail.Among them,capacitor banks adopt parallel mode,through star and triangle connection and system parallel connection,to achieve reactive power regulation of each phase load.The control circuit based on intelligent control switch is used to realize capacitor switching operation.It not only has the advantages of low on-off resistance and zero-crossing action,but also satisfies the smooth switching function under zero-crossing voltage.2)Intelligent reactive power compensation regulation strategy is proposed.The basis of capacitor bank action is formed by power factor evaluation index.The optimal control model of reactive power compensation is constructed by calculating the minimum difference of reactive power capacity.The optimal control strategy of reactive power compensation regulation is obtained based on LINGO calculation.An example is used to carry out the analysis.The results show that the strategy can achieve the goal of fast compensation without repetition for capacitor banks,greatly reduce the switching frequency of the device,compensate quickly,and have high efficiency and accuracy.3)This paper designs various functional modules and applies perfect components for the intelligent reactive power compensation device.Among them,the use of integrated microcontroller to achieve the complete control of intelligent reactive power compensation,which has the characteristics of fast operation,takes into account the low cost and miniaturization requirements.In the aspect of function development,using modularization method to divide each function independently can not only efficiently process sampling signal,improve the accuracy of operation instructions,but also be conducive to function upgrade and debugging.4)Field tests show that the intelligent reactive power compensation device works normally,has perfect functions and good power factor adjustment effect,and can effectively solve the problem that the reactive power is not up to standard.
