As the most important equipment in the air-condition system,performance of condenser has a big effect on the system operation.Nowadays,most of automobile condensers are parallel flow design with single sub-cooling path.Compare with tube-fin condenser,heat transfer rate of single sub-cooling path is 30%~50% higher,refrigerant side pressure 70%~80% lower,Although single sub-cooling path has a very good performance,but in order to meet the higher needs in performance by customer,we should continue to improve the parallel flow condenser.In this paper,the author designed a new parallel flow condenser with triple sub cooling path.This new design condenser could drastically increase sub cooling degree with only a little increasement of refrigerant sidepressure.So system COP is also higher.In this paper,the research is mainly focus on below topics.Based on theoretical study,analysis the huge influence of sub-cooling.Design concepts and run performance simulation.Find the best concept.Run test validation base on the best concept,evaluatethe actual performance.Triple sub cooling path parallel flow condenser will be a good choice if customer doesn't have a very strict requirement on refrigerant side pressure.
