Landslide disasters are natural disasters facnd by human beings. When landslides occur in reservoir arteas or large rivcers, swells and waves will cause greater threats to residents and buildings. On a global scale, hundreds of deaths each year due to landslides.Based on the frequent occurrence of landslide surges and strong destructive power, rapid and accurate numerical simulation is of great significance for understanding the development process of landslide-tsunami and disaster prevention. This resNearch includes the following contents:(1)For the landslide body sliding process, this paper derives the bndslide body motion model based on Newton's laws, fully considering ihc suhacrial.partially submerged and submerged landslides. At the same time, the sensitivity analysis of relevant parameiers, the application recommendations are given, and ths existing analysis ofrelevant parameters, the application recommendations are given, and te existing literature data is used for validation;(2)In order to find out the influence of dispersion characteristics on landslide water waves, the wave models with different dispersion degrees arc derived, including fully dispersive model(LFD),weakly dispersive model(LWD),shallow water model(LND)and Navier-Stokes(NS)equation.The effects of landslide shape and the dispersive effects of water waves on the generation and propagation of water waves arc also studied.;(3)In order to rationalize the numerical model to ths actual project, the scale model of the indoor experiment level is proposed based on ihc gravity similarity criterion, and the scale effect of the numerical model is investigated. At ihc sam.time, the grid dependence of the computational region is explored by wave computational partition. It is found that the mathematical model of landslide swell has obvious regional differences, and the near-field waves have higher dependence on the grid precision, which is mainly reflected on the near-field free surface characterization and the landslide shape analysis results.Based on this,a partit ioned grid scheme is proposed, which significantly improves the computational cfficieney and takes into account the calculation accuracy;(4)For application, taking the landslide disaster in the Laxiwa reservoir as an example, considering one typical seenario(subaerial)and two another special scenarios(partially submerged and submarine). The accurate and efficient geometric modelling method is proposed. The landslide model, water wave model and grid strategy were applied to the landslide surge disasters in the region. The flow field velocity, wave height, initial wave and climb data were calculated. The landslide characteristics and disaster situation in the region were analyzed, which proves the effectiveness of the modeling method proposed in this paper. This research can provide technical references including geometric modeling, mathematical model selection and computational grid strategy for the calculation of landslide surges in reservoir areas. It has certain engineering significance for the prediction and prevention of landslide surges in actual proj ects.
