Contact mechanical seals,because of their good sealing performance,reliable operation and small leakage,are widely used in rotary equipment of extreme conditions such as rocket engine turbo pump and nuclear main pump.Their structural design and tribology research has been Focus and difficulty.Therefore,this paper takes the structural design and tribological performance test of mechanical seals in extreme working conditions as the main research contents,and integrates the mechanical seal structure and process design,the finite element simulation of the sealing ring temperature field and the compatibility design and the extreme working condition machinery.Experimental study on sealing tribological properties.The main research contents are as follows:Firstly,aiming at the working characteristics of mechanical seals in extreme working conditions,an integrated design idea of mechanical seal structure and process is proposed.The mechanical seal integrated design model was obtained by axiomatic design method,and the key parameters of mechanical seal design were determined.Secondly,for the problem that the mechanical seal structure and the material selection are not matched,the design method of the compatibility between static ring graphite and stainless steel is studied.With the ANSYS finite element software,the optimal compatibility mosaic position of graphite and stainless steel is determined.In order to farther improve the reliability of mechanical seals,a preparation process of high temperature resistant graphite was proposed and the preparation process was designed.Finally,in order to evaluate the reliability of the designed mechanical seal during use,the friction and wear tests of the high temperature friction and wear of the moving ring material,ring and the moving ring material were carried out,and the friction coefficient and wear amount were analyzed.Surface morphology after graphite wear.Ultrasonic measurement of the thickness distribution of lubricating film in mechanical seal and static ring lubrication is also carried out.Ultrasonic measurement technology is introduced.The ultrasonic spring method is used to construct the detection model of the thickness distribution of the mechanical seal lubrication film,and it is carried out on the analog measuring device.Test test for the thickness distribution of the lubricating film.In summary,this paper studies the structural design and tribological performance test of mechanical seals in extreme working conditions.The results show that the axiomatic design method is feasible for the integrated design of mechanical seal structure and process;compatibility The design deepens the structural design of the seal from the perspective of matching the structure and materials,with the aim of improving the performance of the mechanical seal.By analyzing the tribological properties of the sub-materials,the ambient temperature of the impregnated graphite and 9Cr18 sub-materials is obtained.The wear performance is better between 150 and 200 ?,and the graphite has better anti-wear and anti-wear properties.
