Switched Reluctance Generator(SRG)is a new type of motor,which has the advantages of simple structure,strong fault tolerance,hige generation efficiency and adaptability of harsh environments.This paper introduces the research background and status quo of switched reluctance generator in power generation system and analyzes the typical control methods and characteristics of switched reluctance generator in power generation system at constant speed.The aim of the research is to solve the problem of large output voltage ripple,slow response speed and system stability of switched reluctance power generation system.Firstly,the structure of switched reluctance power generation system and the control method of traditional switched reluctance generator are analyzed.Aiming at the problem of large output voltage ripple of switched reluctance generators and serious impact of current ripple on loads,a quadratic boost converter based on coupling inductances is designed and its working modes and the characteristics of system steady-state were analyzed.By reasonable parameters configuration,the zero ripple of input current and output voltage can be realized approximately.Secondly,on the basis of the analysis of the traditional Pulse Train(PT)control in the converter application,a new control Capacitor Current Pulse Train(CC-PT)of switched reluctance power generation system is designed.The characteristics of the starting response and output voltage ripple in switched reluctance power generation system under CC-PT control are analyzed.The switched reluctance power system can reach stable state quickly under CC-PT control.By introducing the filter capacitor current to judge the winding inductance current ripple,the high and low power pulse sequences are chosen,so as to suppress the output voltage ripple of the power generation system.Then,based on the analysis of the switched reluctance power generation system under PT control,a real-time PT control is designed based on the control of the current in the continuation section,according to the load voltage waveform is adjusted by the value of former phase excitation current.The characteristic of output voltage ripple and system response and stability under variable load are analyzed.Finally,on the basis of the above analysis,this paper builds a simulation model of switched reluctance power generation system on Matlab/Simulink platform,and also builds a set of verification platform of switched reluctance generation system through hardware circuit design.Through the comparison of simulation and experiment,the feasibility and correctness of the designed zero-ripple coupled inductances QBC converter,CC-PT control and FW-PT control method are verified.
