Image processing technology refers to a technique of analyzing and processing information contained in an image by means of a computer to extract a desired target.Conventional vehicle part status detection methods generally identify the quality of a part or the state of the switch by the human eye to determine whether the vehicle will malfunction.Image processing technology has the advantages of high precision,wide application range and good reproducibility in vehicle parts working status detection,which can effectively replace traditional parts status detection methods.Triangular lock is an important component of the control skirt closure in the car body.Its "open" or "off" working status directly affects the driving safety and personal safety of the entire train.However,there are few articles on the detection method of the motor vehicle apron triangle lock.In this regard,this paper designed a triangle lock detection method based on image processing technology,and introduced the whole detection process.At the same time,an image enhancement method combining histogram equalization,wavelet transform and gamma transform was proposed.The method was applied to the pre-processing part of the triangle lock detection,which solved the problem that the acquired image was difficult to detect due to noise and insufficient exposure.In addition,in the process of detecting the center of the triangle lock,the improved Hough circle transformation method was adopted,and the detection speed of the link was improved by 4 times on the basis of ensuring the consistency with the traditional Hough circle transformation method.Based on the above method,this paper implemented the detection of the triangle lock image and recognizes the state of the triangle lock("on" or "off"),and obtained the deflection angle when the triangle lock was in the "on"(malfunction)state.The work done by the paper was summarized as follows:Firstly,explained the theory,development status and application of image processing technology,and summarized the detection methods and development process of vehicle parts.Secondly,an image enhancement method combining histogram equalization,wavelet transform and gamma transform was proposed.The method was compared with the existing methods by experiments,and the advantages of the method were proved.Thirdly,a triangle lock detection method for motor vehicle apron based on image processing technology was designed.The software and hardware platform and detection scheme of the detection method were introduced.The input triangle lock image was subjected to pre-processing operations such as template matching,denoising filtering and image enhancement.In this process,the improved method was used to enhance the triangle lock image,which provided guarantee for detecting the image quality of the algorithm link.Fourthly,the state detection of the triangle lock was realized.The image was binarized by the bimodal threshold method and the center point of the image was located.The Canny operator was used to detect the edge of the triangle lock.The center of the triangle lock was detected by the improved Hough circle transformation method,which made the detection speed four times higher than the traditional Hough circle transformation method.The isosceles straight line and the deflection angle of the triangular lock were detected by Hough linear transformation.The "on" and "off" states of the two different types of triangle locks and the angle of deflection were successfully detected,and the entire detection process was made into a visual GUI interface.At the end of the article,the work of the full text was summarized and the future research directions were prospected.
