The combat capability of the UAV system depends not only on the platform and equipment of the UAV itself,but also on the capabilities of the UAV ground operators.The UAV simulation training system is a necessary method to train the UAV ground operators.Using the UAV simulation training system,the operators can be trained in the simulation environment without using the real UAV to understand the technical performance of the real UAV and master its operation method.Besides,the simulation training system can not only train under the normal trouble-free situation,but also can simulate various abnormalities,accidents and emergency situations.Many researches at home and abroad show that the UAV simulation training system can significantly reduce the cost and improve training efficiency.Based on an UAV development project,this paper discusses the design of the simulation training system,which is based on the real ground control station of the UAV and its actual airborne software to achieve the high fidelity and the high consistency with the actual combat environment.The main research content of this paper is divided into five parts.The first part summarizes the research background of the UAV simulation training system and summarizes the research history and current situation of the simulation training system at home and abroad.The second part studies the requirement analysis and the overall design of the UAV simulation training system.This section describes the overall architecture of the UAV simulation training system,as well as the hardware components and software components of the system.Then we describe the features of each software configuration item and explain the deployment relationship of these software and hardware.The third part studies the design and development of the airborne simulation subsystem and its key software.This chapter firstly describes the software composition,function allocation and development status of the airborne simulation subsystem,and then describes the design of three key software configuration items,including: the main control software,middleware software,and optoelectronic device simulation software.The fourth part studies the design and development of the training evaluation subsystem.This chapter first summarizes the main functions and overall process of the training evaluation subsystem,and then separately analyzes the working mode of training evaluation,as well as the training function generation,training operation prompts,training result evaluation,score report generation,and fault simulation.Then we introduce the main features of the training evaluation software and determine the technical route for the implementation of the training evaluation subsystem.The fifth part introduces the integration and testing of the system,and summarizes the lessons learned in the whole project,which can be used for reference.Finally,we prospect the future research directions of the UAV simulation training system.
