With the rapid increase in the number of cars,traffic safety has become a problem that cannot be ignored.According to statistics,most traffic accidents occur in car blind spots.Vehicle blind spots refer to the areas that drivers can not directly observe because they are blocked by the car body.The existence of the blind zone makes the driver misjudge the environment around the vehicle body during the driving process,resulting in serious traffic accidents such as vehicle abrasions and collisions.Therefore,research on the vehicle blind zone elimination system is of great significance for improving the safety of driving.In this paper,a vehicle blind zone elimination system based on shortrange projection algorithm is designed.The main work and contributions are summarized as follows:1.Different from the traditional projector calibration method,this paper establishes the pseudo-random color coding pattern,establishes the projective transformation relationship between the camera and projector image coordinates,and uses the error compensation method to fit the obtained projective transformation relationship,and then obtain the calibration plate.The accurate image coordinates of the upper feature point on the projector improve the accuracy of the projector calibration.2.For the irregular projection surface,the effective central diffusion method is used to calculate the effective projection area;the segmentation linear method based on Delaunay triangulation is used to perform geometric correction of the projected image,and the irregular curved surface,the corner and the whiteboard with the dent are performed.Projection experiment3.For the application scenario of this paper,the improved Adaboost face detection algorithm is used for face detection,the improved Hough circle detection method is used to locate the driver's viewpoint.The positioning result divides the image of the blind road condition captured by the camera.4.The short-distance projection display system designed in this paper is built in the CT6 of a certain type of vehicle for the elimination of the blind spot of the A-pillar.
