Scenic Beauty Evaluation Of Urban Sculpture In Central Chengdu

Urban sculpture plays an important role in the construction of urban landscape,and is of great significance in highlighting urban taste and strengthening urban temperament.This study investigates and evaluates the status quo of urban sculpture in Chengdu,such as urban parks,campuses,roof green space,important streets and so on.Based on extensive investigation,50sculptures were selected as the sample of beauty evaluation,and 86 subjects were selected from professional and non-professional landscape groups.Based on the knowledge of design,landscape architecture and other disciplines,the SBE value calculation and linear regression equation were simulated by using Excel 2010,SPSS20.0 and other software.Interpretation of professional groups,non-landscape professionals in aesthetic differences,aesthetic preferences and landscape factors on the impact of sculpture aesthetic significance,and for the current lack of urban sculpture in Chengdu to optimize the recommendations.Come to conclusion:1.the status quo of urban sculpture in five urban distrcts of downtown ChengduSculpture mainly sets up the environment for parks,with the largest number of sculptures in Huan Hua Xi park.Sculpture theme covers science and technology,classical stories,animals and plants,characters,new era of cultural life several categories.Materials include metal,stone and wood traditional materials,but also blowing glass and other new materials,metal materials,especially copper and steel used most frequently.The layout mainly includes central,freestyle,street type and passing mode.2.Aesthetic characteristics of two groupsProfessional and non-professional groups have the same trend in the development of the beauty score,and they have the similarity in the number of"beauty"and"ugliness"judgments of sculpture.However,the polarization trend of professional groups is obvious,and the scores of non professional groups are more gentle.Among the top nine sculptures,copper is the main material of sculpture,the most green environment is the park,the most widely used color is copper,the ratio of height to width is mostly located in the range of 1<D/H<3,and the theme of sculpture is mainly"anthropomorphic activities".3.Chengdu city sculpture beauty forecastAccording to the SBE value and the score of the influencing factors of the beauty degree,the prediction model formula of the city sculpture beauty degree in Chengdu is obtained as follows:Y=0.189-0.294X₃.The overall evaluation shows that the influence factor of"cultural implication"has a greater impact on the evaluation of sculpture beauty.4.Chengdu city center five city sculpture optimization proposOptimizing suggestions focus on three aspects:establishing the corresponding mechanism of urban sculpture planning,strengthening the maintenance and management of existing sculpture,enhancing the coordination of sculpture environment,local culture,artistry and education.In a word,the layout forms,materials and themes of urban sculpture in the five urban districts in the center of Chengdu are various,which indicates that the construction of urban sculpture in Chengdu is more comprehensive.After the evaluation of scenic beauty,the prediction model of beauty degree is obtained,and corresponding optimization suggestions are put forward.These explorations can provide reference for urban sculpture design in Chengdu city and also provide reference for other urban landscape construction.
