With the development of aviation industry,high-intensity Radiated Fields have more and more serious effects on airborne electronic devices.Electromagnetic shielding is an important method to restrain HIRF interference.The design of shielding body can effectively weaken the influence of HIRF on airborne electronic equipment and realize HIRF protection.However,the shielding effectiveness of the shielding body is reduced by the existence of various hole arrays,cable interfaces,through-conductors and slot structures.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the shielding effectiveness of the shielding body for HIRF protection.In recent years,the method based on transmission line method to study shielding effectiveness of shielding body has been widely used.Based on the existing transmission line method,an extended transmission line method is proposed in this paper,and the influence factors of shielding effectiveness are studied.Firstly,based on the urgent demand of airborne electronic equipment for HIRF protection,this paper studies the coupling mechanism of HIRF between aircraft and airborne electronic equipment,and obtains the shielding body that can effectively realize the protection of HIRF.Due to the complexity of the shielding body of airborne communication equipment and the limitation of the existing transmission line method,this paper introduces the impedance of metal shielding material,the conversion of different shapes of holes and joints and the eccentricity coefficient to realize the expansion of the transmission line method,providing a theoretical reference for the study of shielding effectiveness of the shielding body.Secondly,the shielding effectiveness of airborne communication equipment under the HIRF environment was tested to verify the correctness of the simulation setup,that is,the correctness of the extended transmission line method.The main coupling channels are the vents array and the through conductor on the airborne communication equipment.Finally,based on the analysis results of shielding effectiveness influencing factors in chapter 3,several optimization schemes were proposed to improve the shielding capability of the airborne communication equipment.
