Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast(ADS-B)is a new air traffic control surveillance technology,by combining Global Navigation Satellite System and other airborne equipment, aircraft periodically broadcasts its position, speed, status and type and other information in order for the air traffic controllers to manage the airspace.Compared with traditional surveillance system,ADS-B system has the advantages of a high positioning accuracy, fast update rate, and low equipment cost, and thus is being paid more attention. But because of its open and sharing features, the system is vulnerable to various spoofing attack, which seriously threatens air traffic safety. Therefore, this thesis will focus on spoofing detection algorithm for ADS-B.The main contents are as follows:Firstly, the 1090 ES mode ADS-B system has been introduced, including 1090 ES mode ADS-B signal characteristics, signal format and its contents. After that, the possible mode of deception interference has been introduced. In addition,we have analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the aircraft position verification method using time difference of arrival. This laid the foundation for the follow-up research.Secondly,a method of deceptive detection algorithm based on TDOA correlation coefficient is proposed. This method need two base stations to receive signals,Firstly, the time difference between the two base stations is calculated by the receiver decoding reports;secondly, the time difference is obtained by the two base stations.Collecting each track point of the same track can obtain a set of time difference calculated by the report and a set of time difference calculated by the base station respectively, finally,we calculate the Pearson correlation coefficient of the two sets of TDOA to determine whether the target is a real aircraft or a ghost one. This method follows that it does not need the inversion of the location problem, and it is robust to the synchronization error of the base station and aircraft report position error.Thirdly,an ADS-B spoofing detection method based on double antenna phase difference is proposed.Firstly,we can calculate a group of variables to indicate the directional change based on its broadcast content;secondly,we can use the phase difference to compute another group of variables as the reflection of the directional change;finally,we calculate the Pearson correlation coefficient of the two of variables to determine whether the target is a real aircraft or a ghost one.At the same time, considering the false ADS-B messages that are the same as the airborne real target ICAO addresses may result in false detection,a simple source consistency detection method is proposed.Compared with other methods, this method does not need to estimate the direction of the signal, and it is robust to the amplitude and phase error of the array, and the simulation experiments and practical data have verified the effectiveness of the method.
