Ultrasonic technology was applied to traditional acupuncture,and the high-frequency vibration produced by ultrasound was transmitted to the needle to form a vibration stimulation to the soft tissue(hyperelastic material)around the acupuncture point.At present,there are few designing methods for such small-sized ultrasonic vibrators,and the vibration coupling characteristics between ultrasonic and slender needle are still unclear.Also,the research on the vibration characteristics of ultrasonic vibrations applied to hyperelastic materials is rare.More attempts should be made for further study.In this paper,the design of the vibrator and vibration characteristics of a new acupuncture instrument combined with traditional acupuncture and ultrasound were studied.The finite element simulation software is used to simulate and analyze the ultrasonic vibrator,and the design of the longitudinal vibration ultrasonic vibrator is realized.The influence regulation of the size of the rear cover and the horn on the characteristic frequency of the ultrasonic vibrator was obtained.The coupled vibration characteristics of the system composed by connector and the ultra-fine rod were studied,and the vibration characteristics of ultrasonic vibration applied to the hyperelastic material were also studied.The impedance characteristics and vibration characteristics of the ultrasonic vibrator were tested and analyzed.The main research work and results are as follows:(1)Through literature research,ultrasonic vibration evaluation index parameters of ultrasonic acupuncture were summarized and analyzed.And parameters were set as the designing basis of ultrasonic acupuncture instrument combined with ultrasound and traditional acupuncture.The equivalent circuit of the λ /4 sandwich piezoelectric transducer and thel /4 catenary linear horn,and the resonant frequency equation of the ultrasonic acupuncture vibrator were derived.The ultrasonic vibrator with a frequency of 60 kHZ and a longitudinal vibration of 10 mm is optimized,and the vibration system and device of ultrasonic acupuncture are designed.(2)Based on the commercial software,the finite element simplified model of the ultrasonic vibrator was established.The "Characteristic Frequency" and "Frequency Domain" of the ultrasonic vibrator are studied.The study of the influence of the size of the rear coverand the change of the horn on the characteristic frequency of the ultrasonic oscillator is carried out.(3)Simulation studies were carried out on the coupling characteristics between the connector and the(acupuncture needle).The results indicated that the vibration was transmissible on the slender needle rod and the amplitude of the output is fluctuating.Through the simulation and analysis of the vibration characteristics of hyperelastic materials subjected to ultrasonic vibration,the stress distribution of hyperelastic materials with extrusion at different frequencies and amplitudes was obtained,and the energy generated in the stress region was characterized.(4)According to the simulation,theoretical analysis and design optimization,the processing and assembly of the ultrasonic vibration equipment were completed,and the impedance analysis and amplitude test experiments were carried out.The actual resonance frequency and tip displacement of the ultrasonic vibrator were obtained.The rationality of the design of the ultrasonic acupuncture equipment was verified by comparing the experimental data with the theoretical simulation data.
