With the rapid development of economy,people's awareness of energy saving and environmental protection is increasing day by day.The brushless DC motor control system based on ARM is studied in this paper and applied in the pump control.The control system adopts ARM control,which is simple in structure,small in size,low in power consumption and low in cost.The pump control system saves energy by improving the system of pumps working mode,and applies to the irradiation accelerator cooling system.The structure,the basic working principle and control method of sensor-less brushless DC motor were analyzed in this paper.According to the simulation results and theoretical analysis,the control system scheme of sensor-less brushless DC motor based on ARM was designed,which included the design of hardware circuit and the design of software.The hardware system included the logic control circuit which based on ARM,the drive circuit which based on FSB50450 S,and the rotor position detection circuit.The position by detecting the back-EMF zero crossing,the position signal was achieved.The software was designed in C language,and compiled in the keil uvision.The control system was designed in the double closed loop control of the motor speed and current.A combination of the BP neural network PID controller was used for the speed loop.The control algorithm of the constant speed module and the constant pressure module was implemented in the pump circulation system.Furthermore,the simulation model of BLDCM was established in MATLAB.Through simulation experiment,the control algorithm of the BLDCM was verified.Combined with the hardware and software of control system,the system was studied.And the result was acquired by experiment.The control system was applied to the water cooling system of irradiation accelerator,instead of the PLC control.The volume was reduced,and the anti-jamming,stability and reliability of the motor was enhanced by the sensor-less brushless DC motor driving the pump running.The control method was simple,stable and reliable by intelligent control algorithm changing the original pump operating mode.It made the pump run in the optimal point according to the load of equipment.It reduced the power consumption and saved the energy.
