In recent years,in order to use water resources reasonably and effectively,the number of dam construction in small and medium-sized reservoirs is increasing.Among them,earth-rock dams are easy to cause people to neglect because of the low requirements for geological conditions,and dam foundation leakage and abutment leakage are common.And leakage around the dam.In this paper,the experimental methods and methods for water level monitoring,drilling core,water pressure test,wave velocity logging,borehole panoramic imaging and numerical calculation are proposed for the reservoir to be seriously leaked to the problem of unsuccessful water storage.The leakage characteristics and seepage field distribution of the reservoir were studied.The specific reasons for the failure to store water and the leakage area and extent were analyzed.The reservoir leakage law and leakage mode were clarified.The study yielded the following results:(1)Water outlet point 1 The water source comes from the reservoir area and the right bank mountain body,mainly due to the leakage of the reservoir area;the water outlet point 2 is mainly due to the leakage of the dam foundation,the water seepage point 3,4,5 seepage water and the left bank water and the dam seepage related.(2)Faults F1,F2,F4 and three cracks with large opening degree in the red layer of the cogging,left-side weathering cracks and unloading cracks are all potential leakage areas and channels;the reservoir is 0~10m below the dam foundation.The main leakage part,the effect of curtain grouting water barrier is not up to standard.(3)The water pressure generated by the melting of the bedrock fissure water in the mountain promotes the formation of the seepage channel.The water on the right bank flows into the river valley while flowing into the dam body wall.At the same time,the leakage passage near K8 is blocked,both of which are the reason why the K8 water level rises.(4)Leakage occurs in both the riverbed and the left and right banks.The leakage of the riverbed is mainly at the top of the weakly weathered layer.The leakage on the left bank is slightly more serious than that on the right bank.The water on both sides of the river flows downstream of the dam to the valley,and the water and part of the whole reservoir area The water of the mountain flows to the dam behind the tooth groove of the riverbed;the leakage mode of the reservoir is the leakage of the crack.
